WHAT WE DO
We provide immediate, long or short-term housing solutions for families and individuals who are currently homeless or facing impending homelessness.
1) — We Find & Fund Housing
We locate and purchase, or accept donations of, usable, good-condition, new or used motorhomes (RVs) that can be used by families or individuals in need of housing.
2) — We Coordinate Placement
We work with local providers of safe parking areas (churches, government agencies, private charities, organizations, corporations, businesses, etc.) to arrange and provide a location for our clients to live in their new temporary home.
3) — We Help Provide Basic Services
We work with other organizations in a referral capacity to provide necessary services like healthcare, food, childcare, job training & placement, and counseling.
4) — We Engender Personal Responsibility
By having strict guidelines for participation in our programs, we help our clients gain a growing sense of personal empowerment, self-reliance, and the ability to face and handle life challenges.
5) — We Empower & Educate
By removing the temporary barriers posed by homelessness and engendering self-reliance, we are then able to work with our clients individually to help them realize and utilize their God-given potential.
6) — We Build People & Communities
We work with our clients to help them discover ways to move beyond their current situation of need--whether through employment, by starting their own businesses, or by other means--as well as encouraging them to join Red Geranium Project, in order to help other Americans dealing with homelessness.
